Department farewell

I had the opportunity to give a presentation to the faculty in the department this week as part of my final professional obligations.  I chose to speak about three trends in higher education in the US: Assessment, Active Learning, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.  I left plenty of time for discussion at the end and I had a good number of questions and comments, especially since the higher education system in Poland in currently undergoing reforms.

I was gifted with a lovely bouquet of flowers at the end of the event.  The only challenge was trying to get them home on a crowded bus without poking someone in the face or having them squished!
