We arrived in Athens after an hour flight delay (remenants of the ash cloud from the Icelandic volcano). Unfortunately, mine and Delaney's suitcase did not make it. The service people told us there was another flight coming in at 2:00 am (overnight), but that our suitcase would probably arrive on the same flight we did the next day (thus no new clothes until 5:00 pm at least). The joys of travel...
Our suitcase did finally arrive (at 10 pm). However, it arrived with only 1 of Delaney's tennis shoes, and without my phone charging cable (both items were on the very top of the suitcase). My only guess is that for some reason the suitcase got opened and those two items fell out and were not put back into our suitcase. Really annoying!
