Couch potatos

Our entire family has spent more time in front of the television than I prefer in the past week, but with school on winter break, a limited supply of books (until our boxes arrive), cold weather, and no friends in the city yet, we've had limited entertainments.  We've purchased several DVDs (thank goodness for the multilanguage option!)  Our blue ray player works for US formatted shows (we brought 1 movie with us - thanks Chad!) and for European format.  Although we have satellite TV, its a "basic" package which means few shows in English, most of which are news not movies or Disney or National Geographic.  Oh well.  Looking forward to more engaging activities in the coming weeks...  -Carolyn
