Blacksmith museum

We visited a small town called Wojeciechow with friends from Delaney's school the other day.  Inside the old 13th c tower they had a blacksmith museum.  It was just one room, but some of the artwork and practical tools were pretty neat.

Adam liked the weapons, but as you can see, Delaney did too!

This is a really cool mock-aquarium - all in welded steel.

 This dragon was one item in a collection of wine bottle holders.

 There was a whole wall of crosses.  This was one of our favorites.

Adam got to try out the grinding stone on a (very dull) axe while the kids turn the hand crank.

Adam also hand-minted two collector coins for himself and Delaney.  You only get one hit to do it right.
