Rather than getting a bike for Delaney for her birthday, we came up with a smaller alternative - a scooter! Less cost and can be carried up the 4 flights of stairs to our apartment! (She is resigned to the fact that it will not be traveling back to Wichita with us).
She discovered it yesterday when she came home from school and rode laps around and around the kitchen, living room and front entry (it was rainy outside). She's looking forward to riding it home from school when David picks her up. There is a GIANT hill between her school and our apartment that should be so much fun to ride down.
