Lunch guests

We had the opportunity to meet another Polish family today.  We were introduced through a language school in town where I had inquired about English-speaking 8 year olds.  The mother is a dentist and the father is a vet.  They lived in the UK for 5 years and their 11 year old son and 8 year old daughter both attended school in Britain.  They came to our apartment for lunch today and everyone had a good visit.  The kids played outside for a while with Delaney's scooter, then did some art together.  Their kids attend a public school here in town.  The elementary school has 1000 students!  The 4th grade has 9 separate classes with 30 students each!  The 1st through 3rd grade classes also loop together with a single teacher, just like in Delaney's private school.  We are looking forward to getting together again after Easter...
